Cancellation Policy
We want satisfied customers, not hostages. This Cancellation Policy explains how to stop a Shipora subscription, what happens to your account and data, and how it relates to our Refund Policy at /refund-policy.
This policy covers subscriptions purchased directly from Shipora. Purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play must be cancelled in your device account settings.
1. Who can cancel
Organization account owners and billing administrators may cancel a paid subscription or close an organization account. Individual users (drivers, dispatchers, or staff) cannot cancel the organization subscription—they should contact their administrator.
If you no longer know who owns your organization account, email support@shipora.com and we will contact account owners at the addresses we have on file.
2. How to cancel
Cancel directly in the product when possible:
- Web console: Account & Billing → Cancel subscription (or equivalent in your plan settings).
- Organization closure: contact support@shipora.com to delete the entire organization account.
- Apple App Store or Google Play: cancel auto-renewal in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Deleting the Shipora app does not cancel store billing.
An email or phone request alone is not automatic cancellation—we will help you, but you must complete in-product cancellation or confirm closure in writing.
3. What happens when you cancel
Cancellation stops future renewals. You typically retain access through the end of your current paid billing period unless your Order Form says otherwise.
Export routes, orders, proof-of-delivery records, and other Customer Data before cancellation if you need them. After access ends, recovery may not be possible.
We do not automatically prorate unused time in a billing period. If you just renewed by mistake or have not used the account, see our Refund Policy—we will treat you fairly.
4. Data deletion timeline
After cancellation or account closure, operational Customer Data is removed from active systems within approximately thirty (30) days and from backups within approximately sixty (60) days, unless we must retain information for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Individual user profiles may be deleted sooner through in-app account deletion (see our Privacy Policy). Store subscriptions must still be cancelled separately in Apple or Google settings.
5. Free trials & non-payment
If a free trial ends without upgrading to a paid plan, access may be frozen or the account scheduled for cancellation after a grace period. We may delete trial accounts that remain inactive.
If payment fails on a paid plan, we may suspend access until payment is received. Extended non-payment may result in cancellation per our Terms of Service.
6. Enterprise & custom agreements
Customers with signed Order Forms or enterprise agreements should follow termination notice requirements in those documents. Where they conflict with this Policy, the Order Form controls.
