Creating and managing orders
Manual orders, address lookup, statuses, and when dispatch can still edit an order.
4 min read
Create orders from the Orders view or accept them from connected POS integrations. Each order includes pickup and delivery addresses, contact phone, scheduled times, and optional notes.
Addresses
Use Google Places autocomplete for verified addresses, or enter a custom address when the customer location is new. Accurate coordinates improve map display and ETA calculations.
Order statuses
Queued — Ready for assignment
Assigned — Driver selected but not yet picked up
Picked up / En route — Driver has the order; dispatch editing is limited
Delivered — Completed with optional proof of delivery
Failed — Delivery attempt failed; see redrop workflow
Editing limits
Once a driver picks up an order, dispatch cannot change core delivery details—this protects drivers mid-route. For failed or completed orders, use redrop to create a fresh attempt with new pickup/delivery times.
