Square integration
Connect Square OAuth, sync orders, and keep dispatch in sync with your POS.
14 min read
Connect Square so delivery (and optionally other) orders land on the Shipora dispatch board without retyping.
Before you start
You need Owner or Administrator access
At least one Shipora location already created
Access to the Square account that owns the stores you want to sync
Connect Square (OAuth)
Open Settings → Integrations → Square.
Choose Sign in with Square.
Approve access in Square’s OAuth screen.
Return to Shipora—connection status should show connected.
Map Square stores to Shipora locations
Orders need a pickup location in Shipora. After OAuth:
Stay in Square settings (or Locations mapping UI).
Map each Square location/store to the matching Shipora location.
Save.
Unmapped stores may not sync cleanly—map every store you care about.
Choose what syncs
Enable the order types you want imported, for example:
Delivery orders
Pickup orders (if you dispatch those too)
Shipping orders (if applicable)
Turn off types you don’t want on the board.
Day-to-day after connect
New matching Square orders appear on the board like manual orders
Assign drivers / routes as usual
Status updates in Shipora remain your dispatch source of truth for drivers; keep Square and Shipora expectations aligned for your staff
Disconnect or reconnect
If tokens expire or you switch Square accounts, reconnect from the same Integrations → Square screen. Remap locations if the Square side changed.
Troubleshooting
Symptom: No orders appearing · Check: Sync toggles; store mapping; order type in Square; board date/location filters
Symptom: Wrong pickup location · Check: Remap Square store → Shipora location
Symptom: OAuth / connection error · Check: Reconnect as Owner/Admin; confirm Square account permissions
Symptom: Duplicate or missing fields · Check: Confirm Square order has address/customer data; fill gaps manually on the board if needed
